The Erasmus+ project REVIVE was awarded 250,000 euro under the program KA220-HED – Cooperation partnerships in higher education, to provide cross-regional exchange of best practices and successful rural development strategies in mountain areas.
By implementing a multi-country Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), Geospatial Infographic Toolkit, and a comprehensive handbook the REVIVE project aims is to create sustainable solutions, advance knowledge, and foster collaboration for affected rural regions. Participants will engage in themes such as climate change, economic revitalization, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable entrepreneurship.
The REVIVE consortium connects six partner organizations from Greenland and five EU member states: Spain, Italy, Finland, Lithuania, and Bulgaria. The project’s official Kick-off Meeting, organised by the University of Salamanca will take place in several locations in the region of Castile and León, Spain, on 17–21 November 2025.
